Dry Eye Testing & Treatment

Tears are necessary to protect the eye from harmful invaders, provide a safe cushion for your contact lenses, fight allergens, and provide a smooth surface for light to enter the eye.  If you are suffering from dry, irritated eyes that do not feel better with over the counter eye drops, you may be suffering from chronic dry eye.

Only proper testing will reveal if you have evaporative dry eye, low production of tears, or poor tear quality.  The good news is that Eyes & Optics of Pearland offers dry eye testing and options to maintain healthy tears.
